What goes in your black wheelie bin

The black wheelie bin is for everything else that cannot be recycled but before you throw it away, stop and think!

Is there another way you can recycle or reuse it?

Glass can be recycled at one of the 38 bring banks situated around the district
Cardboard can be taken for recycling to either of the two Household Waste Recycling Centres
Would a charity shop be able to sell it?

Please note that we cannot take rubbish left in bags or containers other than that contained within the black wheelie bin with the lid shut.

Place food waste in tied carrier bags to prevent flies, smells and vermin.
